Chicago Sky at Las Vegas Aces, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Las Vegas -1.5 (-118), bet $5 to win $4.24
A Finals preview? Both squads are 7-3 in their last ten games, but I like the Aces at home tonight. Although they’ve been up-and-down in the season’s second half, I think when the lights go on for real, Las Vegas will be ready. I don’t think the Sky backcourt, as good as it is, can slow down Kelsey Plum enough. Also, the Aces have more incentive, as they’re one game behind Chicago for the WNBA top spot. The Aces draw blood tonight.
Connecticut Sun at Los Angeles Sparks, 10:30 pm Eastern
The Pick: Los Angeles +11, (-113), bet $5 to win $4.45
I’m guessing a few days removed from sleeping at the airport, and getting pounded by Connecticut by 26, the Sparks might be more rested, huh? (eye roll) I’ll take L.A. at home, with a second game against the Sun, who will most likely be coasting, getting double-digits. The spread smacks of recency bias.
