Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever, 3 pm Eastern
The Pick: Dallas -265, bet $13.25 to win $5; Dallas -6.5, bet $3 to win $2.88
As we approach the playoffs, each game for Dallas becomes crucial. The Wings are flirting with not making the postseason, so they can’t afford to take any game lightly, no matter the opponent. Indiana doesn’t have that problem. Dallas’ scorers are way too strong for the Fever’s defense, worst in the league. The Wings’ moneyline for dinner, lay the points for dessert.
Atlanta Dream at Seattle Storm, 6 pm Eastern
The Pick: Seattle -6.5 (-120), bet $6 to win $5
I know I’ve never been crazy about taking Seattle at home, but Atlanta’s been on the road for too long. This is the fourth road game in a week for the young squad, so they can be forgiven if they’re not up to full speed tonight.
Connecticut Sun at Minnesota Lynx, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Minnesota +4 (-110), bet $5.50 to win $5
Minnesota couldn’t get it done in the last game against Connecticut, but I think a second straight crack will help them get a cover here. The Sun’s Alyssa Thomas won’t get another triple-double and the Lynx won’t start off as badly as they did Friday. I’ll take the home dog.
