Chicago Sky at New York Liberty, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: New York +4.5 (-102), bet $5 to win $4.90
This is the second game of a back-to-back for Chicago, which is why the line took so long to be put up. I think the Sky will not only be fatigued overall but will still be suffering the effects of Courtney Vandersloot’s concussion. One game without their point guard might be fine, two okay. Three? I think their game will suffer a bit. New York will be putting forth their best effort; it’ll be enough to cover at home.
Los Angeles Sparks at Las Vegas Aces, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Los Angeles +9.5 (-118), bet $5 to win $4.24
As much as I would love to take Las Vegas here, it’s too many points. Los Angeles made me look foolish the other day by standing tall against Atlanta, and while I don’t think they’re going to win tonight, I do think they’ll play hard. Besides, I still thing there’s something off about the Aces. I’ll take almost double-digits here.
