Incidentally, what’s with all the weekday midday tip-offs for these games? Seattle O’Sullivan needs his sleep, you know…Anyway, Chicago has a 9-2 record at home this season, have won nine of their last ten games, and have officially put to rest the notion that they’re cruising until the playoffs roll around. I know Courtney Vandersloot is not playing this afternoon, butI think this line is taking the May 18 result, where the Storm beat the Sky by three, way too much into account. Chicago has become the best team in the league since then. Star Candace Parker, for better or for worse, thrives on proving she’s the most marketable player in the WNBA. So this afternoon she’ll want to prove that loss was a fluke and that the Storm aren’t in the Sky’s orbit. Take the moneyline for dinner, lay the points for dessert.
