Minnesota Lynx at Indiana Fever, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Minnesota -2.5 (-118), bet $7.50 to win $6.36
Well, I suppose Minnesota failed to reward my faith in them last night (or was it that Dallas sent me a message last night? Hmmm…) so I’m supposed to go against them tonight, right? Wrong. Even though this is the second game of a back-to-back, I think Minnesota’s rise is no fluke, and I think they’ll be eager to make up for a loss last night against an Indiana team that, while plucky, is simply overmatched against most teams. The Lynx are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games, and I see tonight being an easy win for them.
Connecticut Sun at Atlanta Dream, 7:30 pm Eastern
The Pick: Atlanta +8 (-117), bet $7.50 to win $6.45
I’ll take the home underdog Atlanta even though they’ve already lost two games to Connecticut this year by double-digits. The Dream lost by 13 and 11, and in the one by 11, they only scored 5 points in the second quarter. I don’t think that will happen tonight. I do think the third time may be the charm. Atlanta is on their way up, and while Connecticut isn't on their way down, they’re treading water in a way I don’t like. I like Atlanta to keep it close tonight.
