Seattle has started the season off poorly, going 1-3 as they’ve dealt with personal issues for Mercedes Russel and COVID quarantines for star Breanna Stewart and forward Epiphanny Prince, and I think it’s beginning to dawn on the Storm that things are already getting a bit urgent. Stewart is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. I think she’ll play, but even if she doesn’t, I like the home dog in a game where Sue Bird and her teammates are backed up against the wall. Defending champs Chicago have started off 2-1, but tonight go up against WNBA royalty. I think Seattle steels themselves enough to get the cover.
