Okay, these first few days have not gone well. We shake off the rust today.
Seattle O’Sullivan 2022 WNBA Season so far: 2-8, -$70.89

Las Vegas Aces at Washington Mystics, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Washington +4.5 (-102), bet $10.20 to win $10
Both of these teams have kicked off the season 2-0. While that’s not a surprise for Las Vegas, it is for Washington, who struggled last year and lost leading scorer Tina Charles. But Mystics guard Elena Delle Donne and Natasha Cloud have picked up the scoring work so far, averaging 21 and 18 points per game, respectively. Delle Donne coming back from injury may be an even bigger boost than anyone expected. Las Vegas has cruised in its two games so far, but now they travel across the country on one day’s rest to play a team they expect to beat. I’m banking on the “home dog” surprising the Aces a bit.
Minnesota Lynx at Indiana Fever, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Minnesota -175, bet $8.75 to win $5
Minnesota has disappointed me to start this season off, and that’s an understatement. Tonight, however, is a true measure of where the Lynx are at without star Napheesa Collier. Indiana is plucky and plays hard and is at home, but they are not yet a good team. If the Lynx are to make any noise in the WNBA this season, this is a game they need to win. I’ll pay a steep price for a straight win and only put down a small taste, but I think Minnesota knows they might already be in trouble, and will work hard to right the ship tonight.
