We have arrived at the final month of the EPL season. Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and three bets below for the Premier League matches on Saturday, May 3rd. Let’s get into it!
These two teams are one place apart from each other in the league table, with Villa at 7 and Fulham at 8. With both teams pushing for a spot in the Euro League, this should be a fun one.
Both sides have been pretty bad on defense lately, so I am expecting plenty of goals in this one. Villa has lost 2 straight key matches, so I am curious to see how they show up for this one against a solid Fulham side.
Ipswich has already been relegated, so at this point in the season they are playing for pride. With Everton safely staying in the Premier League, they should certainly want to put some wins together to end the season.
This is their penultimate game at home this season, so I think Everton will show up to put a show on for their fans who have followed this rollercoaster of a season. I expect a low scoring affair, but Everton should edge it out.
This is a matchup between two relegated teams, and the worst two teams in the league at that. Leicester come into this one winless in their last 11, while Southampton are winless in their last 12.
Southampton is battling for points so that they don’t match the lowest ever point total for a team in the EPL. This is a very interesting one, as Leicester has scored only twice in their last 11 league games. Southampton has shown the ability to score, they just lack any sense of defense. Very low stakes game, but it should be fun.
Arsenal comes into this game with their hopes of winning the Champions League gone, but a lot still on the line. However, I love their odds this weekend. They have won all seven of the matches at home against Bournemouth and I like that streak to live on this weekend.
Arsenal is far more talented, and while Bournemouth hasn’t been bad, they have struggled to win games. I think Arsenal can pull away and avoid a draw.
Fulham at Aston Villa Both Teams to Score (-145) - Both of these teams have been bad on defense, and both teams have scored in their last 3 matchups.
Southampton (+200) at Leicester - This is hard for me to type because of how bad Southampton has been, but I really think they will pull this one out. They are playing to not hold the worst record in EPL history, so I think they have an edge on a Leicester team that can’t score goals.
Bournemouth at Arsenal (+110) - Absolutely love these odds. Arsenal is the more talented team, and I think they will get the job done for their fans at home.
