Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and three bets below for the Premier League matches on Saturday, April 26th. Let’s get into it!
Chelsea is the rightful favorite heading into this match. Everton has been playing well recently, but they are running into a Chelsea team that has been great at home this season.
These teams' last game this season ended in a 0-0 draw at Everton’s Goodison Park, but I am expecting more action in this matchup. Chelsea should be able to handle this one on their home turn.
Both of these teams have been bad in the last push of the season. Neither has won a game in their last 6 league games and now have basically nothing left to play for.
While neither team has been able to win, they have been able to score goals, with each team only being kept goalless in one of their last 5. Brighton is a solid favorite, but I am looking at the goal totals in this one.
This is my “don’t overthink it” game of the week. Newcastle has been great lately, even coming off of a 4-1 loss to Aston Villa last week. It also helps they are playing Ipswich who has been bad all season long.
I love Newcastle to get back on track this week, and being a home game, they could make it a large margin to gain some momentum back.
Neither team has been great lately, but Southampton has been the worst team in the league all season. They managed just 2 wins and 5 draws all season so far.
While Fulham hasn’t been playing their best recently, I think they are skilled enough to handle Southampton. Fulham’s coming into this game after back-to-back losses but managed to beat Liverpool 3 weeks back.
Fulham tends to play close games, so I don't see a blowout coming, but they should be able to get this one done.
It is wild to see Wolves as a -180 favorite after the season they were having, but they have been absolutely on fire lately. Wolves are unbeaten in their last 6 and have won their last 5.
Leicester just clinched their relegation spot with a loss last week, so they have nothing but pride to play for. I like Wolves to win by a few against a leaky Leicester defense.
West Ham at Brighton Both Teams to Score (-145) - Both of these teams have a leaky defense, and both teams to score has hit in 4 of the last 5 for both of these sides.
Fulham -1.5 (+165) at Southampton - I like the odds on this. Southampton has been historically bad this season, and their defense allows over 2 goals/game on average. I think Fulham can get it done with a solid offense.
Leicester at Wolves -1.5 (+140) - Wolves have been great recently and have outscored opponents 10-4 in their last 5 games. Leicester has lost by more than 1.5 in 3 of their last 5. Love Wolves to stay hot on their home turf.
