This should be a fun one, and Chelsea, who is battling to stay in Champions League contention, should be playing hard. They currently sit one point behind Man City, who found out yesterday that the Premier League will be sending five teams to Champions League play. There is now a ton on the line for a few teams close in the race. Fulham is probably too far gone, but they would love to play spoiler on their home turf.
Don’t overthink this one. Arsenal should handle this game with ease. Ipswich has won just 4 games all year and are a shoe-in for relegation. I think Arsenal will be getting back to their winning ways after winning just 2 of their last 5, although they still have not lost over that run of games, with 3 draws in the books.
This should be an interesting one. Man U has been bad in league play all year, but they have to be riding high after reaching the Europa League semi-finals. However, Wolves are coming into this game on a 4-game win streak, while Man U has won just one of their last 5 league games. Man U has the home field advantage on their side, and Wolves have 4 wins against all lower-tier teams, but Man U hasn’t proven to be much better than that this season.
Here is another don’t even think about it game. Liverpool will handle this one and keep plugging along to their Premier League title. Leicester hasn’t won in their last 10 games, and that certainly won’t be changing this week. I think Liverpool will handle this one by a few goals.
Chelsea (+140) at Fulham - Chelsea should be playing with a new sense of hope since the Premier League got expanded to 5 Champions League slots. They are coming into this one off of back-to-back tough draws, so they will need to get some separation in this one.
Wolves at Manchester United (-100) - It is strange to see Man U not at Plus Money this season, but I still think this is a good play. They just won a wild 2nd leg aggregate to make the Europa League Semis and will be looking to end this season on a positive note. I think they can get this done at home.
Liverpool -1.5 (-165) at Leicester - I think Liverpool will exploit the awful defense of Leicester this weekend. Leicester has been outscored 11-2 in their last 5 games. Liverpool also averages over 2 goals per game. High odds here but I love our chances.
