UEFA Champions League MD 2 Tuesday:Tottenham heads to Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona Bayern Munich showcase match

With no Premier League action over the weekend, and three matches already canceled next weekend, the UEFA competitions bring a needed respite for European football fans.

Tottenham is in action in one of the two early UEFA Champions League matches, and the Spurs head to Lisbon to face a tough Sporting team that won its first game as well last week. So this is to take the lead in Group D into the International break.
