Premier League London Derby pick: Tottenham looks to send early message against Chelsea

It is starting to look like the race to be top team in London might be more exciting than the race at the top of the Premier League title.

Arsenal has won two on the bounce, and both Tottenham and Chelsea will look to match their city rivals Sunday in the late game.

Spurs have spent the money and brought players in–in fact, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham are three of the top four spenders so far (no wonder they all look better)–and will want to climb up the table and challenge Manchester City. But before Spurs can do that, they have to beat a Chelsea side that has dominated them of late.

William Gallas, who played for both clubs, thinks this game is going to be close.

"I think it will be very tight because Tottenham look good, they have good players and the only thing with Chelsea is that they don't have a real striker and that can be a problem for Chelsea as it becomes difficult for them to score goals or to create chances," Gallas said in his Genting blog. That is why that game will be very tight, I predict a draw."

But not for me: I see a winner here, and it might turn the tide of the top four race.
