Premier League Picks Week 22: Manchester City vs Chelsea, Spurs vs Arsenal headline weekend

The North London Derby ends the match week, while Saturday morning is a rematch of the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final

With all the matches going on right now in other competitions, you may have forgot about how big this weekend is in the Premier League.

Of course, there is a Friday match to ease us back in, but it then heats up very quickly.

Saturday morning's early contest is a rematch of the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final, which of course was won by Chelsea 1-0 over Manchester City, after Pep Guardiola overthought ANOTHER huge game. This one should not be a problem for City, since the Citizens have already locked up the Premier League title in early January, and Chelsea is playing match after match in the Carabao Cup and Carabao Cup. But it has been fruitful: Chelsea is in the Carabao Cup Final, and could win another piece of silverware in February at the FIFA Club World Cup.

The team the Blues might play in the Carabao Cup Final ends the weekend, traveling the short distance across North London to face their hated rivals. Tottenham will host Arsenal, and the Spurs could pass the Gunners in the table with a victory (and would still have two games in hand).

Arsenal was just forced to play 60 minutes down a man Thursday thanks to ANOTHER Granit Xhaka red card, and could be gassed coming into this.

There are many other interesting games on the slate this weekend, and I will take a shot at some of them. As always, I take shots with decent teams against bad ones, and give you some bonus prop plays to take shots on if you want to try to make some extra money.
