With Lionel Messi on the way, PSG opens Ligue 1 campaign Saturday against Troyes

Well, well, well.

I guess the Parris Saint Germain leadership did not take very well to losing its Ligue 1 crown.

So far this summer, PSG has signed Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and will now get the jewel in the crown, Lionel Messi.

By the way, four of those five signings (bar Hakimi) will be free transfers.

Yikes.

This PSG team has now jumped to the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League (+325), ahead of Manchester City (+350).

Messi will not be on the pitch Saturday when PSG takes on Troyes, but Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and many of the other talented players in the squad will be.

This could be a fun campaign in Paris.
