EURO2020 Semifinals: Odds, Miller preview of Italy vs Spain, England vs Denmark

Which two teams are going to be back at Wembley on Sunday in UEFA EURO 2020 Final?

We are down to the final four teams at the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament, and there are one or two surprises.

For me, before the tournament began, I said to split up your futures bets between France, Portugal (sorry), England, and Italy (made up for it here).

Right now, it looks as if two of those teams might be headed for a showdown Sunday at Wembley Stadium.

Italy will play Spain in the first semifinal on Tuesday, with England hosting Denmark in the Wednesday contest: both matches will be at Wembley.

If you go by the way the teams are playing, you would have to fancy Italy and England to advance into the final, with Roberto Mancini returning to try to exorcise his demons from the last time he led out a team at Wembley. If you want a reminder of that game, just watch this video.

If you look at the futures to win EURO 2020, Denmark is priced way out at +950, which makes the line Wednesday for England look like a bargain.

Right now, it looks like England should grab one of the spots in the final. The other? That is a toss up, and might be the game of the tournament up until now, although we seem to be getting one or two of those each round.

This has been a fantastic event to watch, so savor it this week.
