With game weeks dwindling, Leicester City can go 10 points clear for UEFA Champions League place

There are just five games left for most of the teams in the Premier League, which means that a maximum of 15 points are on offer.

Leicester City can move 10 points clear of fifth place West Ham United, and seven clear of fourth place Chelsea, with a win Friday over Southampton.

The Foxes have been good all season, and have a chance to win silverware on May 15 in the F.A. Cup Final against Chelsea. But the lucrative UEFA Champions League is where teams want to be, and Leicester can just about lock that up with a win today.

The line is a little strange: Southampton looks to be already at the beach, and if the teams in the relegation zone were not so poor, the Saints might have been in trouble. But they are not, so they might be playing out the string.

Leicester needs this, and should get it.
