PSG and Barcelona desperately need wins Sunday to cut gap at top of tables

If you look at both the Ligue 1 and La Liga tables, European powers PSG and Barcelona are not where they would like to be: at the top.

But wins for each today on the road can help both teams. PSG plays Lyon, which is even on points with the Parisians, while Barca faces a Real Sociedad side that looks set to be back in the UEFA Europa League next season.

The French teams have nine matches left in the season, with PSG just three points back of Lille at the top, while Barcelona trails both Madrid teams, but can hop over Real Madrid into second with a win today.

It is going to be a fun last two months in most of the top flight leagues.
