Rangers, Manchester United, both go into UEFA Europa League second legs all square

This is a huge night for two teams separated by a three-hour drive.

Rangers have already won the Scottish League for the first time in a decade, but really want to make some waves in Europe for the first time since 2008.

Manchester United, which was recently ranked as the most sustainable squad in all of Europe’s top five leagues (that is 98 teams, by the way), continues to build towards something special in the coming years.

Both could really do with wins today to keep the projects on track, but both should get stern tests. Rangers are at home against Slavia Praha (1-1), while United is at the San Siro (1-1) against Milan.

Wins for both could be on the cards, and hopefully, a quarterfinal matchup of the two teams.
