Ajax looks to get back to winning ways in Eredivisie, while FC Groningen can move closer to top five

With the top of the Eredivisie getting even closer over the last couple days, the pressure now moves to Ajax.

Coming into Thursday, three teams sit on 35 points: Ajax, Feyenoord, and Vitesse, with PSV a point behind. Ajax’s opponent Thursday, FC Twente, is currently sixth on 27 points, with FC Groningen on 27 as well.

This European race in the Netherlands is shaping up to be tight. Most expect Ajax, with its plus-42 goal difference, to start pulling away; but will they?
