Wednesday Premier League picks from Miller: Manchester City vs Brighton and Tottenham vs Fulham
Manchester City, Tottenham, both look to cash in games in hand to move into Premier League top four
With this wacky season, the Premier League table has always looked a little bit off: so many teams had games in hand for months.
But now, that is starting to change. Manchester United finally played its opening weekend match Tuesday against Burnley, which the Red Devils won to move to the top of the table this deep in a season for the first time since 2013.
Wednesday, it is Tottenham’s and Manchester City’s turn to make up matches, although the Cityzens still have to make up a game with Everton. But with wins today, over teams sitting 17th and 18th, both teams will be in the top four.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham: that looks a lot like the top four teams in the league.
Both teams win today, although Tottenham’s contest could be interesting.
