We have a title race in the Premier League, with Liverpool trying to stay on top heading into cup week

After Monday, there will not be any Premier League games for over a week, something of a novelty this season.

But there is always action, as the EFL Carabao Cup semis take the stage Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by four days of F.A. Cup Third Round games starting Friday.

Liverpool will keep hold of its lead at the top of the table, but man, is it getting tighter. Manchester United is even on points, and will be even on games after the Red Devils make up their opening weekend match with Burnley next Tuesday ahead of a massive contest at Anfield. Manchester City might have something to say as well over the coming months, as could some outsiders.

This is going to be fun.
