Teams at top of Spanish and English tables try to win on the road Wednesday

Both Liverpool and Real Madrid came into the 2020-21 season as reigning champions, looking to go back-to-back.

But both also have found their leagues much tougher so far than last season. Liverpool finds itself just two points ahead of Manchester United, with the same amount of wins as three other teams. Real Madrid is actually tied on points with Atletico Madrid, having played two more games.

Today, both teams need to go in the road as heavy favorites and keep winning, to put the pressure on the trailing clubs. I would expect that to happen.
