Miller's Monday EPL picks: Crystal Palace v Leicester City, Chelsea v Aston Villa, & Everton v Manchester City

Where and when to watch: Crystal Palace vs Leicester City, 10 am EST on NBCSN and Fubo.tv; Chelsea vs Aston Villa, 12:30 pm EST on NBCSN and Fubo.tv; Everton vs Manchester City, 3 pm EST on Peacock

Intriguing Premier League season continues with three more matches Monday

The last three Premier League champions have each won 32 of their 38 matches over the full season, racking up an incredible 99 points on average (100, 98, 99). The 2018-19 campaign saw Manchester City and Liverpool each score 97 points.

In the 2020-21 Premier League, there will be no runaway winner. In fact, every team in the league now has dropped points in the same number of games (six) or more than in those three previous seasons.

But guess what? That means teams like Everton (second), Leicester City (third), and Manchester United (fourth with a game in hand as well) truly have a shot to bring home a championship in May.

Each game means something, and each team brings something to the table. Just look at the West Bromwich Albion 1-1 draw with Liverpool Sunday. Or how about Sheffield United? The Blades have been in so many games, yet come into Week 16 with the least amount of points (two) ever at this point, and are the sole team in the English Football League pyramid without a win (0W 2D 13L).

Monday, Leicester City, Everton, and even left for dead Manchester City can continue to put pressure on the other top four teams with wins. But do not forget Aston Villa, which sits on 25 points after 13 games, holding two matches in hand and maybe with the best player in the league (not named Bruno Fernandes) in Jack Grealish.

This is the best time of the year for soccer fans, with games on every day. But these are tough matches to call today, so I might go with some goal scoring wagers.
