In Wednesday Champions League Group G play, it's Barcelona vs Juventus, and Free Football Predictions has a preview

Barcelona vs Juventus, Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 4 pm EDT.

Juventus hosts Barcelona at the Allianz Stadium in a fixture from Group G of the Champions League. We are going to preview this match for you in our free football predictions for today. Let’s get to work!

The two major favorites for the first place in Group G are going head to head on Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium. Sadly, we are not going to see another chapter from the rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the Portuguese super star is quarantined with COVID-19.

For Juventus this match comes just few days after a disappointing 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona in the Serie A. In the absence of Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo put Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala up front. Both didn’t score because the Swedish international Dejan Kulusevski scored Juve’s only goal in the game.

The new signing, Federico Chiesa, was suspended against Hellas Verona, but most likely the Italian star will be in the starting eleven against Barcelona. Morata and Dybala could keep their places in the starting eleven while Kulusevski could be rewarded for his goal in the last game, too. The good news for Pirlo is the return of the American midfielder Weston McKennie who's recovered from COVID-19.

For Barcelona this visit to Turin comes at a difficult moment. Just few days ago Barca lost the El Classico against Real Madrid in La Liga. Ansu Fati scored for Los Cules, but Madrid managed to snatch a 3-1 win at the Camp Nou.

Ronald Koeman made an interesting decision against Real Madrid. He chose to leave Antoine Griezmann on the bench while giving a starting spot to 17-year-old Pedri. It was a second consecutive game for Griezmann in which he didn’t start or play at all.

Koeman’s biggest trouble is related to the injury of Philippe Coutinho and the suspension of Gerard Pique. Both players are missing the game against Juventus. Most probably Coutinho is going to be replaced by Griezmann while Ronald Araujo should step to replace Pique.

These are our free football predictions for the Champions League match between Juventus and Barcelona at Allianz Stadium. Without fans the home advantage is not so big here, so we believe both teams are having a similar chance to win. It should be a great game.
