Six intriguing games kick off late action on first day of UEFA Champions League play

There are some new teams, or at least some different sides from the last few seasons, in this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage.

Stade Rennais (Rennes) makes its debut in the Champions League, after two straight years in the Europa League, and the French side is very talented. They will take on Krasnodar, which is also making its first foray into the Champions League group stage.

In a marquee contest, Lazio will host Borussia Dortmund in Group F. Look for Erling Braut Håland to find the back of the net, and the Germans to win.
