Bet the MLS Wednesday: Andrew Chase picks Atlanta vs Orlando, New England vs Toronto, Philadelphia vs Cincinnati, Columbus vs Montreal

Atlanta United vs. Orlando City, 7:00 pm EDT; New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC, 7:30 pm; Philadelphia Union vs. FC Cincinnati, 7:30 pm; Columbus Crew vs. Montreal Impact, 7:30 pm.

The race for the Supporters Shield is heating up in the MLS, with the Columbus Crew and Toronto FC atop of the standings with 31 points each. Orlando City and the Philadelphia Union are right behind them, with 29 and 28 points respectively. Everyone in the top four is up against a team in the bottom 10 of the standings, with Toronto FC being the lone team to face a decent opponent in the New England Revolution.

Atlanta United vs. Orlando City - 7:00 PM EDT

Orlando City has not lost their last nine matches. NINE. MATCHES. They lost the MLS is Back Tournament Final to the Portland Timbers, had a hangover loss to Inter Miami on August 22, and have not looked back since. Atlanta United have looked like a shell of themselves this year, and that will not be magically changing tonight against the surprise MLS story of 2020 in Orlando.

The Play: Orlando City Pick Em -125 - 1.5 Units

New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC - 7:30 PM EDT

Toronto has ripped through Columbus and Philadelphia to solidify that they are the real deal, and I expect them to continue this statement against the Revs. The Revs are tough to play against especially in New England but expect Toronto's pair of forward Ayo Akinola and midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo to help the Canadians keep their boys rolling tonight.

The Play: Toronto FC Pick Em -105 - 1.5 Units

Philadelphia Union vs. FC Cincinnati - 7:30 PM EDT

The Union have not lost to Cincy in their last three meetings with two wins and a draw. Cincinnati did draw with them 0-0 on September 23 in Ohio, but this was one short blip on the Union's radar of otherwise very strong form. Philly should bounce back tonight with fans rejoining them for the first time in their stands which is exciting news for sports fans nationwide.

The Play: Philadelphia Union ML -160 - 1 Unit

Columbus Crew vs. Montreal Impact - 7:30 PM EDT

The Crew has slipped up their last two against Toronto FC and FC Dallas who have both caught fire the past several weeks. Although it seems like Columbus has taken a drop off in form, tonight presents the perfect opportunity for them to jump back into the win column. Montreal has not won a match in their last five outings and has seen over three goals in every match they have played in since September 1st. We are going to continue our trend of taking the top four tonight, with a little extra.

The Play: Columbus Crew to win & o1.5 Goals -125 - 2 Units
