Manchester United heads into biggest five-day period in years. Match time is 1 pm EDT.
Since the restart, Manchester United has seen its fortunes change for the better, but for a couple hiccups.
The Red Devils come into Wednesday’s massive home match with West Ham United, which is all but safe, knowing that two wins could be enough for them to finish third. But two wins will definitely be enough for them to finish fourth (crazy fact: two wins or two draws would do it, but one win might not be enough.)
If Manchester United can find a way to score some goals today, and possibly get the goal difference advantage up over Leicester City, it would be very big. A 5-0 win today would mean the Red Devils could lose to Leicester by two on the final day and still finish above them.
If Manchester United is comfortably ahead in the final 15-20 minutes today, look for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to press for more goals.
But the primary objective is to win.
