Atalanta, Roma, Napoli continue quests to lock up European play next season in Thursday Serie A action. First match time is 1:30 pm EDT

High-flying (and high-scoring) Atalanta comes into Thursday nine points clear of fifth place Roma in Serie A, with the top four teams getting a chance to play UEFA Champions League next season.

It might not matter to Atalanta, which could still win this season’s Champions League and qualify automatically, but that safety net of a fourth place finish would be nice. They take on Napoli today, which has already qualified for the Europa League thanks to its win over Juventus in the Coppa Italia. Expect there to be some goals, because that is what happens when Atalanta plays.

Look for Roma to knock off Udinese as well, and move eight points clear of Milan for another Europa League spot.
