Premier League Wednesday: Miller picks Everton vs Leicester City as the Toffees try to get into the UEFA Europa League

Everton can jump up into UEFA Europa League battle with win over reeling Leicester City. Match time is 1 pm EDT.

The battle for European places in England has not been this tight in years.

Coming into Monday, 12 teams (or 11, if Manchester City is banned) have a legitimate shot at making either the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League.

Two of those teams, Leicester City and Everton, will play Wednesday. Everton comes in as the team in 12th place, knowing a win could move the Toffees smack dab in the middle of the Europa League battle.

Maybe the more important question is, what is wrong with Leicester City? The Foxes have struggled to score, and now face losing Brendan Rodgers to Barcelona (or Manchester City) in the near future.

Everton gets Leicester at a perfect time as well, right after a hard-fought F.A. Cup loss.
