Can Juventus hold off Lazio to win its ninth Serie A title on the bounce? First match starts at 1:30 pm EDT.

Coming into Monday, the Serie A title race was separated by a single point.

Juventus, which has won the last eight Scudettos, holds that slim lead over Lazio, with Inter still somewhat in the battle (six points behind Juventus).

But the Old Lady is looking leggy, which was shown over four days last week in the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg and the final, which Juventus lost in penalties to Napoli after a scoreless draw.

Lazio has a very tough game Wednesday against an Atalanta team that should be getting some looks to win the UEFA Champions League, especially at 22-1. Monday, Juventus can put pressure on Lazio with a win over 10th place Bologna.

Juventus is going to falter here in this run-in somewhere, but it should not be today.

Also, look for Fiorentina to beat last place Brescia, and Milan to find a way past Lecce, especially with a European spot in the balance.
