Can Leipzig make a run to the top of the Bundesliga table? Miller picks RB Leipzig vs SC Freiburg

RB Leipzig takes its best shot at Bundesliga title starting Saturday. The match begins at 9:30am EDT.

While it currently sits five points back in the Bundesliga table, RB Leipzig may have a clear run at the title.

While the other teams around it will be facing off, Leipzig plays just two of its final nine matches against teams with a winning record coming into Saturday. One of them is this weekend, against eighth place SC Freiburg, while the other comes in the penultimate game week at home to Borussia Dortmund.

In between then, Leipzig will play three of the bottom four, and a bunch of other teams that struggled before the COVID-19 break.

If Bayern Munich can drop some points somewhere, Leipzig could make a run to the top.

Look for that to start this weekend.
