Managua FC, Real Esteli FC, look set to continue battle at U20 level as well

Last December, Managua FC and Real Esteli battled it out over two legs to be declared the champion of the Nicaraguan Primera Division Apertura.

It was Real Esteli that came away with the title, with a 2-1 win on aggregate. While those senior teams may be set to battle it out again over the next month, it is looking very likely that those clubs’ U20 teams will be playing as well to determine the second half champion.

Managua already has the top spot locked up, while Real Esteli can finish second place with a point Saturday at ART Municipal Jalapa.

Both playoff teams should win this weekend, to set up a thrilling playoff.
