Soccer Wednesday England picks: West Ham United vs Liverpool, and Manchester City vs Manchester United in the Carabao Cup Semifinal

With the news of Bruno Fernandes imminent arrival to help Manchester United's push towards the top four in the Premier League, it could give the Red Devils a boost emotionally heading into their second leg of the EFL Carabao Cup semifinal against Manchester City.

But unless he is on the pitch Wednesday, it could be a long night for United against the tough City midfield. City has a 3-1 lead heading into the second leg.

In Premier League play, Liverpool heads to London to take on West Ham United. The Reds are going to lose at some point, but not here. The Hammers are struggling.
