It is the last day of the 2019 Women's World Cup Round of 16. If Italy and Netherlands advance today, that will mean there will be seven European teams in the quarterfinals, with the United States the lone hope for the rest of he world.

At the African Cup of Nations, Group F takes the stage for the first time, with Ghana and Cameroon looking likely to take the group lead.

While the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League campaign only came to a close in Madrid on June 1, the qualification for the 2019-20 edition starts with two matches at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Prishtina, Kosovo. The new facility will play host to the two-one off matches today, then a final on Friday, to see which team makes it into the first stage of qualification.
