Soccer Monday: Manchester City v Leicester City match could put Cityzens atop Premier League with one game to play. Miller makes his pick

While the English Premier League final match day is next Sunday, today is the day that it should be finally decided.

Manchester City hosts a resurgent Leicester City team, coached by former Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers. A win for the Cityzens Monday would send them back to the top of the Premier League table by a point with just one match to play. While Liverpool has a tough match with Wolverhampton, City will get Brighton & Hove Albion, which looks likely to finish in the spot just outside the relegation zone.

Leicester City beat the Cityzens 2-1 on Boxing Day, which looked to have all but handed the title to Liverpool at the time. But Manchester City has gone 27-2-1 since that loss, and the one draw was in the Carabao Cup final, which the Cityzens won on penalties.

In the league, City is 17-1 since that loss. Pep Guardiola will remember exactly how his team fell on December 26, and will not let it happen again to derail a domestic treble.

Will Leicester City let the hosts have possession, and try to hit on the counter attack, much like it used to when it won the title in 2016?

Or will the Foxes risk the attack, knowing it has to win the match to have any hope at qualification for the UEFA Europa League next season?
