Soccer Monday: Three Leagues, three games – Miller picks Chelsea v Burnley, Wolfsburg v Eintracht Frankfurt, Benfica v Maritimo

The action starts at 3 pm EDT

This was a great weekend for Chelsea, and the Blues did not even have to do anything.

Chelsea sat back and watched all the teams around it in the Premier League table - Tottenham (third), Arsenal (fourth), and Manchester United (sixth)- all lose.

Monday, the Blues can pile on more anguish, if they can win at home against Burnley. Chelsea has only lost one of 11 to Burnley, and beat the Clarets 4-0 in October.

In Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt will visit Wolfsburg. Frankfurt is currently fourth in the Bundesliga table, and has a chance to extend its lead over Monchengladbach.

Wolfsburg has not been very good in league matches against top four sides: It has lost all four matches since January by a combined score of 11-0. Can Eintracht Frankfurt keep up that trend?

Benfica can shake off a controversial exit in the UEFA Europa League midweek and go back to the top of the table in Portugal with a home win over Maritimo. Benfica is 6-1-1 since May 2016 against Maritimo.
