2nd day of the UEFA Euro 2020 quals & Miller looks to keep rolling

We might see some team’s pants getting pulled down

It was a great day for us on the pitches Thursday, going 9-1 on the first day of the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Long may it continue with the victories.

Friday, I see England, and I see France. Just like Thursday, we might see some team’s pants getting pulled down, just like Scotland, Belarus, and San Marino, who all were shutout in heavy defeats.

England, which made a run to the 2018 World Cup semifinals, will host the Czech Republic at Wembley. The Three Lions are just entering a golden age of talent, and will head to the 2019 Nations League final in Portugal as the favorites to win a tournament for the first time in eons. The two teams have only ever played one time, a 0-0 draw back in 2008. Expect Harry Kane and company to win big.

If England is entering a golden age, France is in the midst of a platinum age. The defending World Cup champions should have won two tournaments in a row, but for a few hit posts and crossbars in the 2016 Euro final. But Les Bleus are the team that could win every tournament for the next six years. Moldova is one of the minnows of European football, and this match should be straight forward.

Portugal, which won the 2016 UEFA European Championship 1-0 over France in overtime, and Iceland should both take care of business as well. Cristiano Ronaldo loves to score goals, and look for him to bag at least one for the defending champs.

Although it is on the road, expect Iceland to crush tiny Andorra.
