UPDATE: Sunday Stanley Cup Playoffs: Thiessen picks Vegas vs. Montreal, with Canadiens looking for a 3-1 lead
Surprising Montreal Canadiens can push Vegas to brink with Game 4 victory
It is amazing in the NHL Playoffs how, each season, you get one (or more) surprise team that makes a deep run.
Think back to the last few seasons: Vegas (2018) in its first season against a Washington team that had always struggled in the playoffs, St. Louis finally breaking through (2019), the Dallas Stars last year.
Are the Montreal Canadiens that team in 2021?
A win tonight would see the Canadiens take a 3-1 lead, and need just one more victory to head to the Stanley Cup Finals for a record 35th time in franchise history.
But I know that Veags is tough, and has been in a hole before: tonight, though, I like the home team to go up 3-1.
