Tuesday NHL: Thiessen picks Tampa Bay Lightning at Carolina 'Canes, Vegas Golden Knights at Colorado Avalanche

Have the Avs blown the series, or can they get back in at home against Vegas?

I have no idea what has happened to Colorado in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

After looking like the best team in the world for the first six games of the playoffs, the Avs have fallen apart in their last two. That is why I could not believe there were Colorado fans rooting for Vegas in the first round: The Golden Knights are very good.

I am now worried that Vegas has the momentum, and if they win tonight, will close it in six.

Tampa Bay can clinch tonight, but I think Carolina finds a way to ramp up the scoring, and send this to a Game 6.
