Memorial Day NHL: Thiessen picks Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs, NY Islanders at Boston Bruins
Many people would say that the Toronto Maple Leafs are cursed.
The people who do not say they are must not follow the sport.
The Maple Leafs might have multiple curses on the organization, and are still searching for their first title since 1967. That Stanley Cup win, by the way, was the 13th (spooky) in the club’s history.
So here we are, with Toronto on the verge of another collapse, playing a Game 7 at home against the hated Montreal Canadiens.
It would be the easy thing to do to take the Maple Leafs at home to move into the next round, and maybe go a long way towards breaking this curse.
But I am going to go the other way.
