Friday NHL: Thiessen picks Capitals vs Bruins, Hurricanes vs Predators, Jets vs Oilers, Avalanche vs Blues
Mother Nature runs rampant, as Hurricanes, Avalanche try to open up commanding 3-0 leads.
They always say a series does not begin until the home team loses a game.
For the Nashville Predators and the St. Louis Blues, they are hoping that is the case.
Both teams head home for a Game 3 Friday night down 2-0 in a series, in desperate need of a victory. But the Carolina Hurricanes and Colorado Avalanche want to keep both teams down, and go up 3-0 in the best of seven series.
I see one of the home teams pulling out a close win (Nashville), with the other falling to what might be the best team in the NHL (Colorado).
In the other two games, I think Boston goes up 3-1 over Washington, and Edmonton evens up its series with Winnipeg.
