Wednesday NHL: Peterson picks the Nashville Predators vs Chicago Blackhawks, Minnesota Wild vs Arizona Coyotes

The Nashville Predators (25-21-1) are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now, winning eleven of their last fifteen games. Fresh off of a 5-2 thumping over the Chicago Blackhawks (21-20-5) Monday night in Nashville, the Predators will try to replicate that performance on Wednesday night in Chicago. Although the Blackhawks are not to be taken lightly, they have fallen to the Predators four times in the past month alone. At -125 on the Nashville Moneyline, jump on this as it could definitely be set higher.

Minnesota Wild (-134) @ Arizona Coyotes (+114), 9 pm EDT

The Minnesota Wild (28-13-3) are finally in a good spot with a goaltending tandem consisting of veteran Cam Talbot and youngster Kaapo Kahkonen. In season's past, goaltending was good but never "good enough" to carry them deep into the playoffs. With talent from front to back this season, the Wild are in a good place. Fresh off of a 5-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes (20-21-5) on Monday night, Minnesota will attempt to make easy work of the Coyotes again on Wednesday. Arizona has struggled against the Wild all season and has now lost seven in a row to Minnesota with many of those losses by two plus goals or more. Expect a closer game this time around, but side with Minnesota on the Moneyline to be safe.

The total has gone over in four of the past seven meetings between the Wild and Coyotes. Minnesota has gone over 5.5 total goals in six of their past ten games and Arizona has in seven of their past ten. Lean on the over here as well.
