When the New York Rangers travel to Washington DC to face the red-hot Capitals Sunday morning, it will be an East Coast battle of the ages as both teams are swinging for the fences right now. Washington is 9-1 in their last 10 and New York is 5-5. Both teams are averaging just under 4 goals per game but New York is allowing 0.5 more against. Although the Rangers look really good right now, the Capitals are rolling through every team they face. Seated at #1 in the East for good reason, they're going to be a tough team to beat the rest of this year- especially in DC.

Nashville Predators (+103) @ Chicago Blackhawks (-123), 8 pm EDT

Nashville and Chicago hold similar records, but Nashville is a bit of a surprise this season whereas Chicago has been a force for as long as I can remember. Nashville is a good team to get behind now as they're performing as good as ever, but my money is safer betting on the under. Chicago is averaging 2.3 goals per game in their last 10 and Nashville is averaging 2.8. Take the under but go lightly.
