The people of Raleigh will experience third round playoff hockey at home tonight for the first time in a long time but we think that the Hurricanes will once again disappoint against this gritty Bruins team. Boston hasn’t lost a game since 4/30 no matter where they’ve played and will shoot for 6 straight wins tonight, a goal that is entirely within their grasp. G Tukka Rask has been playing like a stud and hasn’t let in more than 2 goals in his past 3 games. If he keeps that up there is no reason that the Bruins can’t go the distance this year. The Hurricanes need to come out with their A game tonight if they want any chance at a win for their home crowd. However, we think Boston has this on lock, a sweep may even be in order come Thursday night but we won’t get too excited. One game at a time.
