Fire the cannon! The Blue Jackets are home for the first time in two weeks for some playoff hockey after sweeping the Lightning in Round 1 and having eight days off before starting Round 2. The people of Columbus will be thrilled because instead of watching a scrimmage, they can watch F Matt Duchene put up points in a playoff game. Obviously this will be no cake walk as the Bruins are pesky and never quit. The crowd in Ohio will, however, be electrifying. This is the first time in the Jackets’ history that they have made through a playoff series, so look for that home-ice advantage to be the difference maker in such a tight series.
