NHL Playoffs: We’re #ALLCAPS for Capitals v Hurricanes - Dietel gives the deets

Best Bet
CAPITALS (-155) over Hurricanes

The Skinny
Tonight we are going #ALLCAPS as the Capitals look to defend the throne and advance to the second round in the playoffs where the Islanders have been waiting on baited breathe for over a week. Carolina has put up an excellent fight and even made it much farther than many assumed they would but we think the NHL has seen its fair amount of upsets this season and thing the first round is done with them. The home ice advantage here is huge seeing as neither team has dropped a home game yet this series meaning it’s Washington’s turn to win. Hopefully they can pull through. The Caps are bigger, stronger, and faster than the Hurricanes. Ovechkin said it himself last year at the Capitals Stanley Cup Parade: “We are not suck next year,” so let’s see if that’s really the case.
