>>> In their last six games, the Flyers have outscored their opponents 12-3 in the second period . . . In the six games before that, they had been outscored 12-0 in the second period.

>>> After winning in Pittsburgh Monday night, the New Jersey Devils are 5-1-0 vs. Pennsylvania’s NHL teams (Flyers, Penguins) and 14-22-7 vs. everybody else.
