NHL: Blues seem like a play Monday against Flyers

The Flyers have been on a downward spiral with no signs of slowing down any time soon. They lost their sixth straight game Saturday afternoon at home to Calgary as the Flames came back to win it in overtime. Philly has not been playing with confidence, like their NFL counterpart Eagles have been. That’s why we like the Blues here.

St. Louis has been having a pretty miserable season as well but they are 5-5-0 in their last 10 which is an improvement. Like Philadelphia, they have the talent and the offensive prowess to succeed but have just been struggling to find a way this season. Something is off with their chemistry.

We like the Blues in this one just because the Flyers seem to be in a rut that they can’t get out of. We think F Vladimir Tarasenko and co. take this one tonight at Wells Fargo Center.
