NHL Saturday - Flyers at Panthers, 7 p.m.

TV: NBCSP, FS-Florida

Flyers (15-16-5) +$110 at Panthers (15-15-6) -$130

Pick: Flyers (+$110)

Both the Flyers and the Panthers have been struggling this season. They both have the ability to put up goals quickly and in succession but for some reason neither team has been able to really click and string wins together to keep them in contention.

For Philly, G Carter Hart will get the nod in goal. The rookie is getting a lot of opportunities to show his worth and his making a very nice case for himself. Look for him to make the difference here. The Flyers will be without F Nolan Patrick as he suffered an undisclosed upper-body injury on Thursday. F Jordan Weal will slot into the line-up in his place. Weal will have a lot to prove if he wants to keep his spot in the rotation so look for him to make some sort of contribution as well.

The Panthers have been playing sneakily good hockey on their special teams. Their power play unit is clicking at 28.2% and their penalty kill is successful 77.8% of the time. Even with numbers like those, the Panthers still allow a lot of goals, getting touched for three or more in nine of their last 12 games. Slight edge to Philly here.
