The Flyers have gone through a lot of changes in their front office this season, the most recent of which coming yesterday as newly appointed GM Chuck Fletcher fired Head Coach Dave Hakstol to finally put the Ron Hextall regime to bed. Typically when a team’s coach gets fired, the players get amped up and try to make a change on the ice. We think the Flyers will be a prime example of this in tonight’s game. Both the Red Wings and the Flyers have been underperforming this year. The Red Wings have lost their last three and the Flyers have lost their last four. It’s a battle of losing streaks and tonight is the Flyer’s night to shine and show their new interim coach what he’s working with.
